Alexander Saltalamacchia, Director of Leasing
A Brooklyn native with a degree in Business Management from St. John’s University, Alex Saltalamacchia began his career in the insurance industry, where he built the foundation of his sales and customer service expertise. Although he enjoyed and excelled in the field, Alex chose to transfer his skills to an industry that had always interested him and a company that he could grow with, leading him to the then-young, promising company—aptsandlofts.com.
He began as an agent and quickly became one of the firm’s top producers. He then obtained his broker’s license and shortly thereafter became the director of leasing. With years of real estate experience under his belt, Alex considers himself an expert in the Brooklyn market, with a specialty in Williamsburg. His team members appreciate his easygoing nature, coupled with his hands-on and forthright approach. Alex thinks outside the box and is always looking for innovative ways to improve his team’s knowledge and level of service. -
Brad Phillips, Director of Product Development
Professionalism and respect are Brad Philips’ hallmark characteristics. “I give 110% to my buyers in the home buying process, and treat them as I would want to be treated,” Brad says. His easygoing nature and ability to listen to what people truly want, have made him a top producer at aptsandlofts.com.
Brad grew up in upstate New York, just outside of Buffalo before serving in the United States Air Force in Texas. Following the military, he worked as Assistant Director of Security at the IMF in Washington DC and, later, as Director of Operations at a Midwest modeling agency.
He first discovered aptsandlofts.com when he made the move back to New York and began his own apartment search. Ultimately, he found a great place through aptsandlofts.com and had such a positive experience, that he decided to join the firm as a rental agent, and then soon worked his way up to sales and today is an integral part of the aptsandlofts.com management team.
As Director of Product Development, Brad’s insight on buyer wants, needs and desires assists the firm in devising the correct marketing techniques and campaigns to ensure our new developments are positioned properly in the marketplace. Brad has overseen multiple large scale New Developments including 214 North 11th Street, 100 Maspeth Avenue and 63 Roebling Street in Williamsburg.
Brad participates in a number of charitable activities, and is closely involved in Cancer Research Foundations. He is an avid baseball fan and is an official citizen of the Red Sox Nation.

Corrine Troia, Director of Sales
Experience, diligence, and loyalty are the catalysts that have helped Corrine, aptsandlofts.com’s Director of Sales, achieve success. Originally from Williamsburg, and later a resident of Queens, Corrine started her real estate career selling 1-to 3-family homes in Middle Village and quickly climbed the ranks to top agent. When her then-colleague decided to start his own Williamsburg-based firm—aptsandlofts.com—Corrine saw the budding opportunities and made the move to the company, and eventually to her home borough.
Corrine’s poised, confident approach has helped her create strong, longstanding relationships in the industry. She serves as a liaison between developers, sponsors, agents, and attorneys and is often told she would make an excellent litigator, because of her admirable negotiating skills.
During her downtime, Corrine enjoys a good game of handball, a night out dancing, and spending time with her niece and nephew.

David Maundrell, President
David Maundrell is President and founder of aptsandlofts.com. Starting from a small 550 square foot office in an industrial section of North Williamsburg in October of 2002, David’s vision for the company is to simply “Keep it Real” with a goal of providing clients with highest level of marketing services for their properties but also to provide his customers with the same level of service in a down to earth approachable manner. This vision has enabled aptsandlofts.com to become one of the largest and recognizable privately owned Real Estate brands in Brooklyn today.
Prior to starting aptsandlofts.com, David worked for a Queens based family owned Real Estate brokerage firm but quickly realized that Real Estate in Brooklyn was his calling. After two years, aptsandlofts.com was created, just when the internet was beginning to take over the real estate industry in terms of marketing. Since 2002 aptsandlofts.com has marketed over 90 New Developments and in June of 2009 was ranked the 3rd Largest New Development Marketing Firm in NYC in terms of developments represented between 2007 and 2009 by the Real Deal trade publication.
A native of Williamsburg Brooklyn and a lifelong Brooklyn resident, David cares deeply about not only real estate in Brooklyn but also the neighborhoods as a whole and is involved with multiple neighborhood charities. Professionally, David is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and is a member of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce Real Estate and Development Committee.

Jennifer Lee, Director of New Business Development
Originally from Texas, Jennifer enjoyed a 5-year career in the music industry and later moved on to find success in catering sales; After carrying out successful careers in both industries, she decided to pursue her longtime interest in real estate, a profession that suited her perfectly.
She began at a Manhattan real estate firm, where she was honored as a top producer. Later, she joined The Developers Group as director of sales and award-winning agent. She was reinvigorated when she joined aptsandlofts.com in August 2008. With her, she brought newfound enthusiasm and exceptional sales and marketing experience—during the course of her career, her sales were in excess of fifteen million dollars a year!
Jennifer is an associate broker with aptsandlofts.com and is committed to the highest excellence when it comes to serving her customers and providing an environment that is relaxed, yet professional. She forges lasting connections, by employing expert market knowledge, first-rate communication, and a passion for real estate and marketing. Jennifer is responsible for all aspects of business development at aptsandlofts.com, including working with developers, managing and training agents, and leading the company’s new resale division.

Kasia Wagrodzki
Self motivated, honest, friendly and reliable are just a few of the characteristics that describe Kasia Wagrodzki, aptsandlofts.com’s delightful receptionist. Her compassion and ability to put herself in others’ shoes are what make her both successful and adored.
Originally from Poland, Kasia Wagrodzki moved to the US at the age of 13. She started her career in the medical field, first as a volunteer dispatcher, and later as a surgical assistant. Her desire to experience new things and maintain a reliable schedule led her to real estate and aptsandlofts.com.
During her downtime, Kasia can be found in a tent on a campsite, shooting down a water slide (she loves it even more than her kids do), and seeing the world through the eyes of her 2 children—as they get pleasure out of the purest, simplest things in life. -
Sasha Perez, Executive Assistant
Were it not for her admirable perseverance, Sasha Perez may have never joined the aptsandlofts.com team. Sasha was an Activity Specialist for the St. Nicholas Neighborhood Preservation when she decided to pursue a job in real estate—a field that had always piqued her interest. After what seemed like a successful interview, Sasha didn’t receive a callback but persistently called to follow up. Eventually her future boss called her and told her he was so busy that he hadn’t had the chance to return her call. “That’s why you need me,” she replied. And years later, she remains an essential part of the team managing the daily office operations.
Sasha was largely raised in Greenpoint Brooklyn. In addition to working full-time and raising her daughter, Sasha studies Business Management and Psychology at Baruch College. Sasha’s motivation, diligence, and problem solving skills have led to her success. She also prides herself on being forthright and honest. Sasha also speaks Spanish and when she can spare some downtime, she enjoys music, traveling, and dancing.

Serkan Ozturkcan, Director of Marketing
Serkan Ozturkcan
As Director of Marketing and Brand Development, Serkan brings consumer and cultural insights together to develop and hone transformational branding ideas. With a diverse background in Advertising / Public Relations and International Business, and Communications and Design, he draws upon multiple disciplines to identify key consumer trends and develops campaigns that emotionally connect with target audiences.Prior to aptsandlofts.com, Serkan was responsible for Strategic Brand Development at a select brand incubation agency The Kind Group, and worked on a diverse group of innovation projects ranging from consumables to durables, and the commercialization and branding of eos Products.
Serkan has crafted compelling campaign strategies, developed and led innovative approaches to consumer research, and engaged in creative direction and product design, and collaborated with brand strategists and leading agencies on a wide variety of projects including: brand identity and voice, packaging, interactive design.
Serkan’s prior work experience includes working at Brooklyn Industries, the revolutionary Brooklyn based apparel design and lifestyle brand. Serkan also had the opportunity to work with some of the world’s most select high-end brands including the Japanese fashion house ISSEY MIYAKE, Raffles Hotels & Resorts, and Hillside Tourism and Leisure Group.

Steven Laurelli, Director of On-Site Sales
Steven joined aptsandlofts.com as the Managing Director of On-Site Sales. He is a very well-rounded real estate professional who came to us after spending over 6 years with The Corcoran Group. He began his career on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, specializing in rentals and resales in many of the neighborhood’s historic co-ops and condos. As a native Brooklyn resident, he decided to make the switch over to Brooklyn’s new development industry in 2005, and became the Director of On-Site Sales for Corcoran-Sunshine. There, he headed up the sales teams for some of Brooklyn’s most elite new condos in Park Slope and Boerum Hill, including The Smith, NOVO, The Crest, and be@schermerhorn.
Prior to his real estate career, Steven spent several years in the advertising industry. While he enjoyed his time there, it wasn’t until he discovered real estate that he truly felt like he was helping people make a difference in their lives: “There are very few things that compare to helping people realize their dreams of owning a home,” says Steven.
As aptsandlofts.com’s Managing Director of On-Site Sales, Steven works closely with several prominent condo developers in the area. He heads up sales teams in an effort to help people find new homes in some of today’s finest new condo developments. He looks forward to helping you find your new home as well.
