Lewis Canfield, Licensed Real Estate Salesperson

Lewis Canfield began his professional career in the entertainment industry. First, doing promotions and A&R at Big Beat Records (a subsidiary of Atlantic Records) before transitioning to the film industry where he held several executive positions at major studios. During the internet boom, Lewis became a successful business and strategic consultant, launching several new media ventures. As a principal, his duties included fund-raising, staffing, brand strategy, sales, business development, and financial modeling & strategy. In 2000, Lewis conducted and completed a successful auction for one of his internet businesses. With the proceeds, Lewis teamed up with a small group of investors to purchase and develop several properties in different Brooklyn neighborhoods. Eager to share his knowledge with a whole new group of customers, Lewis switched to the sales side of the business and joined aptsandlofts.com in 2007.

Lewis was born and raised in New York City. A graduate of Wesleyan University in Connecticut, he is proud to note it is the only college to ever produce two NFL head coaches who were leading teams simultaneously!

Lewis’ customers are always impressed with his broad understanding of the whole picture—from the financial facet of buying real estate, to the emotional ups and downs that sometimes goes along with it.
